I recently came across a movie, Shadowlands (1985 TV movie), which is about a portion of C. S. Lewis’s life. The movie focuses on him meeting his wife, Joy Davidman, an American writer with a Jewish background. I won’t give any more spoilers away from this movie, but, sufficient to say, when I saw this a few months ago, I was shocked.
